1. Using a thick sheet
of clay, cut out a rectangle large enough to cover barrette
2. Press barrette into clay, curving clay to match curve of
barrette. Bake barrette with clay (to retain the shape)
3. You have two choices here. You can do as I've done and sandwich
the barrette edges in a wad of clay, pressed into the back of
the baked barrette or...
4. Use E6000 glue and just glue that sucker right down. Both
ways work.
5. Finish off by buffing on a buffing wheel or apply Future
Floor Wax for a nice sheen.
6. Oh, and may we say,"voila, you're done!"
Note: Get creative! See that first
barrette? We covered the baked barrette in
pre-mixed grout, layed in beads, poly clay charms and even a
penny!
