Box Clock
This excellent little item is a
box and a clock in one!
Great for hiding things and so adorable to look at. It makes a great
gift.
What You'll Need:
How To Make It:
1. Cut or poke a small
hole in center of lid to fit clock post.
2. Paint your box inside and out (I prefer black).
3. Make mosaics by running clay through a pasta machine to make
a thin, even sheet. Bake and cut into squares or shapes while
still warm.
4. Working in sections, lay a thin coat of glue onto the box
top and begin pressing your mosaic tiles down, leaving space
for grout.
5. When done, cover your mosaic piece with grout (you can be
messy, because you'll then wipe off the excess with a damp cloth)
6. Make feet by rolling a small ball and slicing it in half.
Bake and glue when cool.
7. Attach the clock mechanism to the box and voila, you're done!
