Mosaic Wall Clock
The sky's the limit with Polymer Clay! This whimsical clock was easy to make and it keeps on tickin'!

Mosaic Wall Clock

What You'll Need:
Polymer Clay, any strength: SculpeyIII, Premo, Fimo, Fimo Soft
Pasta Machine or for making clay sheets
Plywood
Paint & Brush
Elmer's Wood Glue
Clock Mechanism
Pre-mixed Grout
How To Make It:
1. Drill hole for clock fitting through center of plywood

2. Paint back and sides of plywood (I prefer black).

3. Make mosaics by running clay through a pasta machine to make a thin, even sheet. Bake and cut into squares or shapes while still warm.

4. Working in sections, lay a thin coat of glue onto the plywood and begin pressing your mosaic tiles down, leaving spaces for grout. Allow glue to dry.

5. When done, cover piece with grout (you can be messy, because you'll then wipe off the excess with a damp cloth)

6. Attach clock mechanism to plywood.

7. Add a couple screws onto the back for attaching hanging wire and voila, you're done!
